How does this process work?

Consultation

When you schedule your call, you’ll populate an accompanying questionnaire which helps me have an understanding of your camping style and teardrop needs for the best, most tailored customer service.

In our call, we will discuss

  • Items of interest to order for your teardrop or tiny camper

  • Your preferred color palette, concept, & theme ideas for your custom design

  • Pricing

  • Anticipate a 6-8 wk turn around time, the more advance timing the better

  • If/when you’re ready to place an order, return the Order Form which was emailed to you after the call, specifying the items you’d like included on your invoice, and I’ll email it over to you

  • Invoice will be emailed for 50% down payment of the total order, to secure your spot in the queue

Design

Upon payment, you’ll receive a link to select from a variety of e-swatches or, in the case of a custom design, to populate your own personalized Spoonflower selections for the items you’ve requested. Once you’ve made your final selections, submit the Design Studio form, I’ll order your fabric, and go into production.

Delivery

An invoice for your final 50% payment will be emailed to you prior to delivery.

Items are mailed out via USPS, so please make sure to provide the correct postal address. Installation kits and instructions are provided for customers to DIY their own installations, and shipping will be included on your final invoice. Orders are mailed out within two business days of receipt of payment.

How to Put on the Queen Mattress Cover

Instructions:

  1. Fold and remove the Queen Mattress from your teardrop and open it up so its in a Z-shape, just so it can stand up on its own.

  2. Unzip the Boondock Interiors Queen Mattress Cover completely

  3. Drape the Queen Mattress Cover over the mattress so that the elastics line up with the mattress’ “hinge” points.

    • Take note that the mattress has two long foam sections and two short sections. So does the Queen Mattress Cover.

  4. Straighten out the Queen Mattress Cover, pulling the corners over the mattress’ corners.

  5. Lift the mattress back up into the teardrop, dusting off the side that was in contact with the ground.

  6. Pull the ends of the Queen Mattress Cover over the remaining corners that were in contact with the ground.

  7. Start zipping the Queen Mattress Cover in sections, as you straighten up the mattress until it lies flat.

    • I prefer to put the longer foam sections towards the bottom of the bed, under where your hips and legs would lie, with the shorter sections under head and shoulders.

    • Remember that zippers only zip up in straight lines, so it wont zip up while the mattress is folded (like a sofa-shape). But it will zip up as you straighten it out.

Care Instructions

Mattress Covers

No specific washing instructions, this fabric is pretty indestructible, & shrinking isn’t problematic. I wash them in cold water with detergent & dry for an hour on med-hi temp. They retain a lot of water, so anticipate either an extra spin cycle or some additional time in the dryer. I recommend you ensure you add some extra items to the load to balance your washer/dryer. They get heavy in the spin cycle.

Light Blockers

Unfortunately the Light Blockers are not washable. If they get dirty, wipe off with a damp cloth.

Tablecloths

Tablecloths are made with 100% Cotton, nylon straps, and plastic clips. They can be washed with regular cotton washing machine and dryer settings. Just remember to snap the clips together to reduce noise and entanglement. I use cold water and normal heat, and would not recommend any higher heat settings. They’ve already been pre-shrunk.

Rollup Curtains

Rollup Curtains are made with 100% Cotton, genuine leather straps, metallic heavy-duty snaps, wooden dowels, and installed hardware as the hanging fixtures. All of the straps and hardware are removable and can be disassembled for washing the cotton curtains. Regular cotton washing machine and dryer settings. I use cold water and normal heat. They’ve already been pre-shrunk.

Keep in mind that the leather straps are held on with 4 locking nuts, and they only lock on once. So if you intend on washing the curtains, I recommend you buy some replacement nuts at your local Ace Hardware. They’re only about $0.15 each, size 8-32 Hex Stop Nuts, and you’d need 4 every time you detach and reattach the straps. Remember to screw them on so that they lock, but not too tight so the screw pops out on the other side of the nut.

Pillowcases

Pillowcases are made out of 100% Organic Cotton, with regular cotton washing machine and dryer settings. I use cold water and normal heat. They’ve already been pre-shrunk.
